Description
User should be able to Edit Job title Dates.¶
Precondition: User adds/edits the Employee on the Employee Profile page.
And there are at least one Job Title with/without Position in the Work History section.
When User clicks on the [Edit] icon in the Action section in the record
Then the edit Job title popup window should be opened when User should be able to change Date Start - Date End. NOt the Job title itself.
When User changes the Job title dates:
The Dates should be validated by rules (see add new Job title).
Also if there at least one Position under the Job title then:
The new Job title Dates should be compared with the Positions dates:
- If the Job title new Date Start >Position Date Start (one of any)
then show the error message “The new Date Start is higher than the one of position Date start. Please change Dates on Positions first”
- If the Job title new Date End < Position Date End (one of any)
then show the error message “The new Date End is less than the one of
of position Date End. Please change Dates on Positions first .
- If the Position Date End was not set, the show the window “The Job Title Date End will apply to all Positions where Date End was not set.” buttons: [Yes, apply the same Date End for positions ] [Cancel]
OR
- If the Position(s) Date End was not set, the show the window
“There are some Positions without Date End. Please set Position(s) Date End first that will be equal or less the Title Date End you are planning to set.”
